I have been asked by His wife Helen and Dawn his Daughter to share with you the following sad loss to the capri world
In the early hours of this morning Chris lost his battle with cancer

Many of you may know Chris and his family ,supporting Mansfield and Notts Capri club both at the Wonderland Events where he always played a major role in helping and organising these events as well as attending the many capri shows up and down the country .

spotted at this years Wonderland hitching a ride in the oldest ford at the show

Funeral will be held on Wednesday 9th November 2011 3.45pm

Very sad news indeed,met and spoke with chris many times at diffront shows,top bloke and really nice family,a sad loss thinking of helen and dawn at this difficult time

Such sad news, our thoughts are with all of Chris's family such a nice Guy. He will be missed by all that knew him. Best wishes to his family from Neal Jane Connor and Liam.

That's sad news. I met Chris at a show last year and he seemed a really nice guy and very knowledgeable on Capris.

I also have met Chris quite a few times over the years and few times this year too (including at the Hendon RAF museum), I cant say I knew him, but he always seemed a genuine nice guy, he also had eye for taking a decent photograph whenever he could of capris at shows when I saw him.

My thoughts are for his family at this sad time, and also for the period that led up to the end.

didnt recognise the name, but I remember the face ... Cant even remember where I met the guy ...
However he must have made an impression, so sorry to hear of his passing.

We met Chris on a couple of occasions, what a nice man, we send condolences to Helen, Dawn and Chris's family, he will be sadly missed. from Margaret and Dave.

Only met Chris the once, really nice fella..friendly and polite..
A real shame..he'll be looking down on us now :headbang::
