Well done you!

I did nothing other than lend the BiL my MIG with a choice of gas. Even supplied anti spatter spray, a reel of 0.6mm wire and pack of spare tips.

Got through to George Barber Panels and ordered my Focus sills over the phone. V.helpful too.

Got the offer of a loaner Golf that needs a bit of mechanical work. Means I can take the Focus off the road and not rush it.

George barber panels gets his wings from euro car parts. I know this because the delivery driver from euro dropped two wings of to George the same day as I received them. Needless to say I sent them back and re ordered them from euro and saved myself £40

Couldn't find MK1 5 door Focus sills on the Euro site.

My George Barber panels arrived today. Haven't fully unwrapped as haven't got the energy tbh, they are SERIOUSLY well wrapped! About a 1/4" of thick brown paper in layers, then a tough, pseudo hessian sack, then copious bubble wrap. Stuck the vernier on them and the steel is 1mm thick.
