Hi All,

I have just joined as I am looking for some help please.

I have a 2.0 Laser that I have owned for 15yrs+ and has been off the road for 11 years. I realise now I'm never going to find the time finish her so am looking for someone to restore her for me.
The bodywork is ok but there is some rust in the usual areas so I think a repaint and a full mechanical overhaul will be required.

I have messaged quite a few car restorers but nobody has replied yet. Can anyone on here recommend good restorers I might try?

Welcome to the forum zooks, for restoration why don't you try some of the specialists who list on the above banner or look in the specialist section of the forum.

Thanks Paul, I have tried a couple of those but no replies yet. I guess the suns out so everyone wants to get their classic on the road this time of year!

You do have several very good restores in the banners at the top, give them another call as it may be Easter holidays hanging over. Finn.

Hi again zooks. A lot of the Capri fraternity are a bit old school and are often better telephoned rather than messaged, whats app (what ever that is!?) or similar.

Try these to start with:-

Capri Gear - Martin - one of the leading Capri parts and expertise suppliers, also does restoration work. 01507 343148

SM Classic Cars - Capri restoration expert. 07927 577356

Andy's Auto Body - 01634 818442.

Afraid all are quite a distance from Wales, but they are experts with Capris. Someone on here may know someone more local to you.

Good luck
