So im ready to start buying paint and the thing id like to go for is silver with a black vinyl roof but what silver that is the question? I need something that is easy enough to get mixed but also looks good on the contours of the car. It is a mk3 with satin black mk2 bumpers and grille and 13x8 deep dish slot mags. I hear a lot about moondust and silver fox but also cortez silver and this i seem to like more for some reason. Any suddgestions greatly welcomed.
Ryan.

Also the car will be sitting 1.5 or 2 inches lower.

Well i have been looking at a lot over the last few weeks and came to the conclusion that a light shade with quite a course metalic in iwhat i am swaying toward, im not very keen on any of the perl or colourshades types as i think it suits more modern cars. But on the otherhand i am colour blind so im not always sure i see different shades the same as everyone els you see🤔

Most silver Fords of the Capri's era were Strato Silver I think.

looked up the strato silver thought it was just right, been to the paint shop and had 2lt mixed with the laquer to go with it. Its just for the underside and all the inside for now so if it doesnt look quite right i can always make a slight change on the exterior body work.
Cheers for the feedback👍
Ryan.
