Hi All,
Joined your Forum just to keep a look out for Capri Petrol Heads and their toys and what odd bits I may be able to purchase from time to time, and what do I find a number of Capri guys from my home town.
I have a 1974 Mk2 V6 Capri, is generally a tidy car but having a bit of loven in the power plant and trans currently.
Has a 2 barrel Holley which I am replacing with original Weber and need an accelerator to carb linkage bracket that bolts to inlet manifold if anyone knows where I can locate one?
Will post a picture of car soon.

Welcome.
Which V6 do you have in there, is an Essex or Cologne ?
Id be interested on the difference the Werber makes to a Holley.

Hi there Brad.

You're from a nice part of Aus, been there myself many years ago and partaken of the local Bundy Rum on many occasions!

Ther are quite a few parts suppliers here in the UK; many of whom advertise at the top of this forum or have their own sections if you scroll down to the bottom of the home page. The most popular ones on here are Capri Gear or Nial Diamond, as well as Tickover or Burton Engineering for engine bits.
Also you could try Capri Club International or Motormobil in Germany (They speak english).

As you have found in Australia, parts supply for some bits is also tight here and secondhand is usually the way to go to keep things affordable.

As a last resort there is also the UK version of Ebay.

Hope this helps.

Brad, there is a Capri specialist in Brisbane: Capri Spares.
Not sure what you're after but he has plenty of mk2 and mk3 parts, and is a specialist engine builder if you ever want to go a bit, or a lot faster.

His name is John McCallum and his email is:

earthing.services@bigpond.com

Pm me and I can dig out his phone number, or if you're after anything in particular let me know & I can ask.

James.

Mk2V6man in NZ, as above, if you haven't got your linkage yet I'm 99% sure John at Capri Spares will have them. Should be cheap to post from Oz.

James.
