my own feelings are well known on this kind of thing ..
if anyone buys that shell, then uses it to fix up, and take on the identity of another car - it should get picked up & crushed - its illegal
VinTags cannot be re-assigned.

I have been seen on several uk forums that its no problem and perfectly legal as long as its not stolen 😫 and since so many actually belive that, the greedy bastards doing this for profitt will keep on scaming inocent pepole...

Yes this is all true, but it's not the sellers responsibility or problem is it?
Viewed from a none emotional attached point of view no legal wrong doing is taking place at this point in time.
As long as there is no specific law to prevent a vehicle identity being sold then this will happen.
The law is only broken when someone who has purchased this identity attempts to attach it to another vehicle shell.
