Good Fix Or Bodge?

Exterior handle door rod connector broken, i do have a good replacement from Nial but couldn't find it, it was bodged by me with tape and cable ties, however i had some of this knocking about from another repair

left it overnight and it has worked, not sure how long it will last but seems ok, tried it quite a few times today and all good so far

I'd rate the photography as plenty good enough. :thumbup1:

As to the direct question, if I had a product called Plastic Padding Super Steel Epoxy Weld, I'd think it was something special indeed, and would feel compelled to let it do what it does. :thumbup1:

I have spare rods if you ever need one, mate. :snack:

Bodge, but a good one. Needs must etc!

PS I've araldited rivet nuts in to my front indicators to repair them - stronger than new!

held out again today at Stockwood park Mk2 nationals, and what a show 12 Mk 2's and some nice 1's & 3's as well, and thanks to Kev Hickling we won best club stand in Vauxhall territory Posted Image
