Hey you're doing a fine job! I love the engine bay, looks very clean and business-like, also the engine looks sweet too :thumbup1: nice job on the dizzy!

Just a little tip about getting the bitumen off the floor, if you use a hot air gun it'll come off really easy ;)

Keep up the good work mate, it's very impressive.

just a quick update, got the head on the engine today and the carb, finished lapping in the valves and have been fiddling round with the timing (absolute son of a bitch!) ive also got a little surprise for everyone here but ill show you guys tomorrow when i put up some pictures!

just a little tip for REMOVING bushes, if you're replacing them with polys (which dont require pressing in)... get ya blowtorch out and just soften the rubber and give em a poke with a screwdriver :)

In my experiance,(quite a few years)! the timing on your pinto engine will allways be half a tooth out. dont worry about it!adjust it on the ignition timing.
never understood how you can be half a tooth? but there you are you can on a pinto!!
just rebuilt an audi a8 w12 try that for a nightmare!!!!

Right guys, havent been posting for a while and have done little work over summer.i ran out of money for the project so i got a full time job and was far to tired to work on the car after work! then been on a two week holiday and have just finished enjoying reading festival!
Good news is now i have enough money to finish the project and im going to be dedicating solidly the last two weeks of my summer holidays to completing it!

Right so i last showed cleaning up the fuel pump and dizzy.

don't know if you noticed but for time being im not getting a respray due to lack of funds. ive been doing it all with spray paint etc and only on bits needed to keep it on the cheap!

Right so now i need your guys help. need to locate two inner wings as its come to the time where they need to go one. im looking to try get them this week so if close neough hopefully i could pick up?
let me know cant wait to get them on so it looks more like a car!

i know what you mean about the money. ive come to a complete stop now because of no money whatsoever to get the paint etc etc to get mine finished. am gutted!
