Just got back home from the classic car show at Statfold Barn between Tamworth & Ashby.
A bit disappointing really. Weather was awful, first thing, after I washed & polish my 2.8 on Friday!!!!
Never mind. The show is only around 3 miles from where we live, so it didn't get too dirty.
We followed a 1972 modified Morris Marina TC & was joined by a 1978 Lancia Beta 2.0 Coupe.
We all our turned off into the show ground. It was a shame though, we think with the typical British summer weather & maybe people away on holiday, there wasn't nearly as many cars there as what there were back in June. Only around 150 cars & trucks. Among the attendees, mine was the only Capri, there was 1 Mustang, a few Porsches, 1 Mk4 RS Escort, a Mk3 Fiesta XR2i & quite a few MG's.
Like I said a bit disappointing, but maybe next year will be a lot better. Looking out for our next classic car show now. I'm seriously thinking about Blackpool, as well, in October (I think). Capri Club International members park up along the seafront.

Anyway here's a few photos from today.. ..

I think I would have rather been there instead of doing an EGR valve on a VW T5, it's probably an easy job if you're a 5 year old and like spannering, looks like I have been bare knuckle fighting, do some manufacturers deliberately make everything under the bonnet razor sharp so you get slashed??
