Anyone near/local to the Worksop area on here? Need to put a thread on my gear lever, but I dont have a tap and die/threadmaking kit or any clue how I would use one:confused:. Waiting for a new buyer before I put the MOT on so can't just pop to a garage to get it done. I just wondered if anyone could spare a few minutes/hours (no idea what it'll take!) to help me out? Beer tokens provided!

Miles away I know, but if push comes to shove I know a very nice man, not me, who could sort you out. Finn.

Posting it would probably involve removing half the interior or taking the gearbox out:oops::D But thanks for the offer!

I have found a solution! A friend of a friend is a bit of a wood and metalwork wizz, so he is going to take a look, if that falls flat I may be asking for help again:D. Thanks to all of you for your offers of help, great community here!
