A69 Rims.

    These are the original rims and centre covers off A69. Without hitting the covers with a rubber hammer they no longer slip into place like they used to. Any ideas?

    rubber O-rings have swollen/broken up .. dont put vaseline on them!
    always better dry !
    as for the securing bolt - standard M8 thread - use a stainless set-screw 13hex M8x20-25 & standard SS washer ..

    make sure to locate the wee pin that is opposite the bolt into the receiving cavity first..

    Man, they need a wee clean Mr Finn !!

    Cheers young man. Pressure washer on stand by as we speak! I don't want to force them into place, might just take one of the rubbers out, 2 of the rims are spares. And see just how loose they would be, or maybe pack out with a run of masking tape. Finn.

    You can "make" new o rings, just need the right diameter rubber and some super glue, to join the two ends, unless the proper o rings are available and cheap, never had to buy any.
