Have been ill the two weeks prior to the meeting due my ME fatigue related stuff, as late as the day before.
But luckly I was a tad better on Friday 13th, so it was a GO!

    And glad I did!
Have been attending the meeting for 25 years in row, so would been a downer to break that habbit.

This year I was passanger in my mate Kai's BOA powered Capri, which has been a while since last time.

Our route this year was Froland-Dølemo-Åmli-Seljord-Gvarv which is about 125 miles.
We started the trip from his place.
Sadly it rained for the most part the whole trip, but that didn't stop us!

We arrived early in the evening.

Saturday came and this was looking good.
In total there was 66 Capris which is very good for a non annyversary year.

One of the most crazy cars on this event was this Zakspeed replica which is a 2019 Mustang with Capri body onto it.
He will try to get this road legal as it is a modified Mustang really.
Sill width was identical between Mustang and Capri which made the job easier if we can call it that.
This has the 4.6 Aluminiator from a 03' Cobra and this will be twin turbo'd.
He has documented the whole build step by step which should make it easier to get road legal.

Myself also did bring a Zakspeed, albeit a tad smaller at 1:10 scale.
Due me being not well before this meeting ment that I could not get it complete and up and running before this meeting.
But several was looking at it and snapped some pics of it.

And for my work as board member (webmaster) I got this lovely present.
Due health issues I have chosen to step down as webmaster.
Also got cred for always been on these meetings, which is nice to hear :)
Well chuffed about that and very gratful, this will be placed in my cabinet after the move.

Another meeting was over and we drove home mid day the following day and took another route home just to see something different.
Very bumpy road and some gravel road, but that is another story.

    Thank you very much chaps!

Yes I strongly recomend to come over and visit the meeting and also take a roadtrip in Norway.
There is so much to be seen and even I have not been above Tromsø, so there is lot of nice scenery here.

During the show on Saturday there was also a sudden storm with high winds and heavy rain, which made me soaked even as I was sitting in the in-check tent at the time.
But an hour later it was gone and sun came by again.
Beside that the show went flawlessly.

That white Tickfor is the only one in Norway, and was the last registered Tickford in UK (former licence plate J4 A JA).
Silver and blue Mk1 with bubble arches are 4x4 with hybrid Sierra 4x4/Granada Mk3 (Scorpio here) front suspension and Ford 8.8 rear axle with the same diff ratio as up front. Homebuilt in a shed.

Nice to see some different types of Capri, orginal and modified.

Next year the location will be at Gol in Hallingdal which is 105 miles north west of Oslo.
    Same place as last year.
That place also happens to be my favorite place.

If you come here, don't be surpriced to hear a stuttering English with a strong norwegian accent if you catch up with me.
I'm loads better typing than speaking lol.

I have driven through Switzerland and over Mont Blanc and then on into Italy in a Triumph Herald 13/60 convertible, with Cortina Ghia seats fitted, really comfortable, coming back through Geneva an American gentleman wanted to buy the Triumph off us. It was the days before the internet, so we politely declined, whereas now it would be case of look on the web for a flight home and kerching!!!
So I'm sure my good old 3.0 Essex would make the journey, no problem, better get spannering and welding.
