Hello, I'm a new member as well as a recent mk3 2.0S owner. 33 years after my first car, a mk2 1.6GL. I always wanted another but money, family, life just took over. Now I'm older and more sorted it was time to treat myself to the car I always wanted, if not quite promised myself. Driving her always brings a big smile to my face even if I am freezing (the heater repair is on the list). There's some great info on here that will no doubt help me out when the repairs get more complex. It also great yo see a real forum and not just a social media page, Keep up the great work, Mick
Welcome in. 33 years is a long wait. You'll have to drive a lot to make up for that, and get a few pics on the way....
Cheers guys. Once the weather dries up she'll be back out and I'll be in her driving and smiling like a gooner
welcome in Mick.. looks like youre going to have a good time with your 'new' Capri.. would be worthwhile opening up a diary page in 'Members Capris'.. you'll be able to document and plot your upcoming journey with the guys in here.. any hassles with the technicals, you're in the right place, there's some brainy guys in here..
couple of ways Mick can use https://postimages.org/ platform, uploading your pics up, and you can mimic your folders and such to keep it organised.. when you click on your photo to 'Share' pick - Hotlink for forums: 'Code'.. and just paste that into your story.. other way is be writing your post, and down left theres a 'Upload A File' button.. click that, navigate on your laptop to where your chosen foto lies, double click.. this will leave a thumbnail under your post, so put the cursor where you want the picture and click the button for 'Full Image' again you can write a bit, insert a pic, write a bit more .. etc etc.. when done - 'Post Reply !!
