    Hi all,

This is probably a really easy answer for someone but as I've only just noticed I'll ask anyway :)

On the 2.8 expansion bottles, I have 2 I'm cleaning up to put one on the car. They have different numbers on, one a 5 and the other a 6 or 9?

Is it something to do with manufacture date or something more cryptic?

Can't quite make out the numbers in your pics-- is it the number stamp that identifies the type of plastic?

It might be looking at it. It's just a number with what I can only describe as sunshine Ray's around it. Just wondered if it was anything specific out of curiosity :)

I think part of the purpose is to sort it for recycling according to type, but I presume there's more to it than that...

Not recycling as that would be a triangle. Looking at it logically, the 12 lines denote months and the single digit will be a year, e.g: 12 5 for December 1985.

That does make sense, and the pics are much clearer now!
