    well done Crash..
as it stands, I have been using NGK plugs since we put the RV8 in.. I like them.. but tend to buy from proper shops, not eBay or Amazon..
a lot of forgeries of many kinds exist out there.. Its as ever be aware where you shop...

Purchased 4 iridium NGKs from the internet, 100% forgeries, vehicle ran like a sack of crap, put the old ones in that had done 20,000 miles and normal service resumed!!!! Buyer beware etc etc, very often though, the seller is only a few pence cheaper or offers free postage, must be a lot of money to be made.

    Very useful information. Thanks Crash.

Been using NGK for years but always bought from what I considered a reliable source ... rushes off to inspect stocks of spares.

The local motor factors have stopped selling NGK I see.

CO, yes, but to get refund, had to return to seller, PayPal refunded, they were nearly £100.00 for four, so price wise they were not cheap, then I too found C and Bs findings.
It's unfortunately our current climate, I would prefer to go to local car parts supplier, but only recently purchased a Yuasa battery from Halfords, to also find that to be a fake, went to Ducati dealership and he matched Halfrauds price and gave us top tips on how to spot a cloned battery. We live in a rip off world and there are too many con artists out there, not that I am cynical or anything!!!
Normally I do not use Halfrauds, but on there internet search, it was bingo, they've got one in-stock, even that prooved to be false, the one listed, was not the one they had, so then had to go to another store, to be fair, the assistant said that if it didn't crank the motorbike, bring it back for for a full refund. When you have a 170bhp motorbike, that little battery has got some work to do.

So many rip off Chinese products about these days.Had various items, plugs included, that get sent back for a refund.
One thing that was funny though,I bought a trickle charger from Amazon, charger arrived and was put into service,it read 13.4 volts was needed, before I had connected it to my battery.

if it states 'Made in British' .. I would run a mile..

Fabrice en Chine.. sprinting for the door
sh!t even Kenwood food mixers, all stamped and labelled as great british built..
No - designed and certified in UK, built in China ..
Its a fecin cop-out.. companies do not want to manufacture here on the isles..
Latest sh!t coming.. all so proud about foodstuffs and livestock, how you can track your food.. Now they are about to start Gene Editing.. !!
so thats not 'Genetically Modified'.. but it flies in the face of Red Tractor, Scottish Food Standards ..
but more.. it flies in the face of the biggest market we currently sell to ..
    Ferkin Brilliant !!
    Arsoles them all

The best one I have recently come across, was purchasing a part from a German supplier, who when questioned stated the part was made in Germany, lying barsteward, I took the part to pieces, because it didn't fit, low and behold a little label inside the part, Made in China, it so pi**es me off that sellers get away with lying.
Parts returned to seller and thanks to Brexit they are who knows where in Europe, I'll claim a refund off Parcel Force.
