Hi I'm Paul , new to the group but not to Capri's . My first car back in 1992 was a 1985 2.0 laser , which was then followed by a 1984 non special 2.8i when I was 18 . Slipped slightly and bought a MK2 golf GTi for my third car at 19 but 8 months later saw the error of my ways and got a 280 brooklands .
Over the years I've owned around 100 capris and was a member of the Manchester Capri club before around 7 of us set up the east lancs Capri club .
Not got a Capri at the moment but hoping to get an early 4 speed 2.8i with check trim next year .

Welcome here -- 100 Capris is a pretty full life, so we might hope for some experienced advice from time to time. It already seems impressive that you remember the first two in particular.

The 2.0 laser started out standard , by time I px'd it for the 2.8i it was running 2.8i suspension , brakes had a 2.1 pinto running 192bhp . Found out 20 years after I'd px'd it that my godfathers niece had bought it and still had it .
