Hi Ron, welcome to the forum ;)

Where are you in Holland ? We have some friends down in the south near Valkenburg, my last visit was back in 2016, very nice part of the world ;) .… one day I would like to take a drive over to see them in my Capri.

There is an annual summer show near Nottingham, last year I met a very nice couple, Bram & Hedi from Hoofddorp, they drove over with their beautiful in their MKII Black 'JPS' 2.3 Capri. I know they go to quite a few car shows in Europe.

Good luck with your Capri search :)

    Hi Lord Flasheart,
Thanks for your message, I live in the north of the Netherlands [Groningen] .
The JPS that's a beaultiful car, the MKI and MKII are the most beaultiful Capris, I favor the MKIII for another people;)....sorry.
    Best regards :D

I have many friends in Nederlands.. it just seemed correct to welcome you in with a friendly greeting.
I have (very near) family in Idskenhuizen (8523NC).. so Groningen is only a skip up the A7 away ..
been thru there a couple of times on way to shows in Wittmund & Oldenburg in the past ..

yes.. but in my defence, have been ther a lot in 20 years .. it worries me that I can travel and get by no problem with language, simply because the people I visit are so better educated in language..
UK needs to learn the benefit of other peoples language ..

I totally agree with you. I spend a lot of time working on the continent and frankly I’d be lost if it wasn’t for the excellent standard of English my colleagues have. I’m learning Danish at the moment and it’s hard graft!

    Hi Alan,

Idskenhuizen that is located in Friesland, the largest province of Netherland. Friesland also has its own language, I can't understand that language....I'm living in Stadskanaal for almost 10 years now, before that I lived in the Westland [South-Holland] the place with a lot of greenhouses, they called the glass city. Everywere you look all greenhouses.

    Hi Big.J,

Danish, that is also a difficult language, Danmark a beaultiful country....when I was 23 years old I worked in greenhouse construction [building] also worked 2 months in Denmark [december of 1991]
That was a great time, maybe i go back for vacation in the future....

    Best regards.
