One of my bucketlist things to do is to drive to the Trollroad / Trollladder (Trollstigen) area when my Capri gets finished.
It is one of those stunning places that everyone want to travel to.

More info can be found here: https://www.fjordnorway.com/top-attractions/trollstigen

Enjoy this video and make sure to see part 2 etc.

We'll hold you to it. Better yet, get a job at the far end so you can do it daily. :)

Also I want to run Odda-Kinsarvik in Hardanger.
My family came from those places (mom from Odda and my cousin lives in Kinsarvik. Aunt and uncle came from Lofthus which is where the big white hotel is located in the beginning of the video after the YX gas station.)

I may drive past there next year on my way to our annual Capri meeting in August if everything goes according to plan.
From this August I will no longer be part of the norwegian Capri Club board, so I will be free to travel as I like.
(We usually have a board meeting on Thursday evening, so I have to tag along the board members on Thursday to be able to attend.)
From me around that place to the Capri meeting is approx 330 miles, a good and enjoyable drive with two mountain pass to cover along the way :)

If you want to visit this piece of road, I recomend to travel in late May as all the fruit trees will have full flowers and the snow is still visible on the mountain tops.
Location is about 2.5 hours from Bergen to Kinsarvik.

Another place that I like is over the Haukeli pass on the way to Hardanger.

This road was finished in 1886 and is the main road between Haugesund-Oslo.
In the video we tag along over the old road over Haukelitunnelen (The Haukeli tunnel) and that tunnel was the longest between 68-82' in Norway.
Before that all the traffic did go on the narrow road seen in the video.
Just turn off the music about half way into the video as he listen to some east-europe radio station. The music is really awful.

I have not been there since 2015 as seen here.
Usually you can still find snow mid summer there :)

Over the years I have travelled this route many times when we visited mother side of the family.
Her is in the late 80s.
Me being the tall one lol
The location is right after you have turned off before the tunnel as seen in the picture above.

And here with my mate Kai which his the BOA Cosworth Capri you have seen several times.
On this trip we did Arendal-Kristiansand-Stavanger-Tau-Røldal-Haukeli-Hovden-Evje-Arendal in his BOA Cosworth 4x4 Scorpio to pick up some spare parts.
    Fun times.
This location is the resting stop right after the hairpins in the video.

If you are lucky you can meet some sheeps and goats along this old road.
You may also find some sheeps in some of the tunnels, so be careful.
Most of the pass has 80km/h (50mph) speed limit. 50mph is our "standard" speed limit.

After a tunnel like that, you should come out in Oregon.
