... as back in the Capri scene.. ... had a mk2 (BUP 149S), a 1.6LS and a 2.0S back in the day ... aspired to but could never quite stretch to a 2.8i as cost of insurance was sky high... but convinced my dad to invest in this Laser as his current run around . A lovely tidy up project and drives just as it should.. Feels great to be back! 3D27F472-F724-4EF7-A07B-42B2B803C231.png 8245E2E1-5068-41EC-B0CF-93E2F14FEB68.jpeg

    hallo Sean, & welcome

Lockdown to me has been wonderful ..
had my date to retire as 31 march 20, but with leave and rota days in the mix, my last day was going to be Thursday 26th..
Boris called it on Monday 23rd, our director sent out an eMail within 10 minutes of the end of that TV announcement ..
    Tuesday 24th - no-one leaves home, and a conference call at 0830 .. .
well so ends 44 and a bit years working for BT.. I spent the last 3 days emptying my office, my van, and my working life .. that was me done
and now 8weeks later, its the best thing that could have happened ..
I was worried that I wouldnt know how to stop .. 30 years of travelling all over Scotland & the northern half of England in my van.
what was I going to do ??
Thankyou Lock-down.. Daily walks, I filled my Car with petrol the weekend before, and it took me 7 weeks to burn 45 litres !!
I truly hope that we do never return to the rat-race that was our previious existence..
    air quality is way up
lots of people can work from home so don't need to commute to an office..
people can actually bake and cook for themselves..
A&E units dont have to be full of idiots every day ..
and people can walk to keep fit instead of binging in front of the TV..

I do not wish to return to life exactly as it was on the 22nd March..

Nice looking laser, I had one a lot of years ago, same colour and year, I really like that colour,
I totally agree CO, about the lock down, I've still had to work right through, but the roads are so quiet, air quality is noticeably better, and apart from a few idiots, everyone seems to be taking it seriously,
