Hi, I'm turning to rear axle discs, Sierra calipers, Fiesta discs, Scorpio cable (I think it's like in Sierra but longer). Now the question, it seems to me that the cable is very short keeping the original support (I will put parallel the other is missing), I can still modify the position of the clamps (I have not soldered the support and I can manufacture another one). I do not see any photos of how other people placed the wire (from an Escort in google but from Capri neither in this forum nor anywhere), does anyone have any photos to show me?

I ran cable ties holding the cable to the axle for years and on the last overhaul fabricated and welded on brackets. Cable length can be altered slightly by varying the length of the link at the hand brake end. I also welded the second bracket opposite the original in the tunnel.

I cable tied mine to axle also, quick and easy.

I bought one of the bolt on brackets for the tunnel

    B

Finally I decided B, the cable has more Liberty to move

Finally I rotated the plate 45° (new one), now only screws match two instead of three but the position is correct for the Hand brake cable. I cant upload photos from muy mobile, maybe another day

Be sure to use stainless cable ties some extra security can be added to them by twisting the tab. As for the best position I think as straight a possible for the last 5 - cm's or as least a nice radius with model B, I'm in the fortunate position of having a company just round the corner from me to lengthen or shorten the cable.
