Hi all,is there anyone supplying retro made ID plates these days.
I know they used to be available several years back for many different brands, just wondering if they are available for my mk2 Capri????

would hope they have the correct ones for your year (and possibly factory) also hope you know the specific codes that should be stamped on it ..
there was a chap on fb in the last week, was asking if anyone could confirm the details on his plate.. he had a picture up, the car was supposed to be a 78 3ltr, it had all the details corresponding to a 1.6, including axle & engine codes..
it was the wrong style of plate, and had been etched, not reverse stamped.. and for his year the actual vehicle identity number had been added incorrectly !!!

would be fun I'm sure if found at MoT, and reported to VoSA/DVLA.. !!!

For one of my cars a jeweller in Burton upon Trent reverse stamped my ID plate, better than factory.

Also in Germany .. the axle weights are also posted..
not sure your particular motor, whether its exUK imported to DE, or full DE left hand drive..
reckon if you can get it thru TuV, the UK side will be easy.. not so the other direction ..
and now with Brexit, a whole different bag of differences to deal with ..
    Damn the Tories !!
