    I bought this off Jez as I think its a really cool item, no plans to use it but you never know

    There are no instructions but I think the basic principle is that retracts when not under tension so no dragging tow rope on the floor if the two vehicles close up.

    The question is how is it supposed to be fitted to either vehicle ? Similar modern items have hooks at either end but this just has these rubber blocks !!!

    What am I missing folks ??

    Isent IT wide enough to stay in hole? Put IT horisontal trough hole, the lay IT vertical so IT "locks" under?
