With the forum being updated why don't we have a role call of who we are and what Capri(s) we have? I'll start us off...

    Name: Craig
    Area: Shropshire, UK
Capri: 2.8i Project. Sat for years but a new storage unit over the next few weeks means more space, electric and hopefully more motivation to get it sorted.

    Lets see yours :)

    Name: Will

Car: Laser 2.0 with YB Cosworth conversion. I believe the car had been off the road for quite some time before my recent purchase. I would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about the history of this car. I have some work to do to get it up to scratch but its back on the road with a fresh MOT.

Car: 78' 2.3S (2.0S V6 from factory). Bought it in 2012 in Lithauen and improoved it over the spring and summer.
Tore it apart the next winter and it was in worse state than it looked at first glance,
Due CFS and other illnesses progress have been really slow to no progress at all.
But I still hope one day I will drive it again!

Hi, I'm still knocking about. I pop in here from time to time and its nice to see some familiar names still active on the forum.
My Capri has been laid up for the past four years but hopefully with a bit of work around April 2019 it will be on the road for next year.
I bought my Capri in 1990 when it was four years old and over the intervening 28 years its been registered for road use for about 6 of them. It's always been garaged and still in good nick and apart from turning the engine over a couple of times a week thats it. I'm having the wheels refurbished soon and it's still on its original paint and panels with 48000 miles on the clock. I see that values have went mental over the last few years, nice to see that the are still as popular as they were in the 70s and 80s.
    Cheers.

Car was recently bought from a guy in Aberdeen who had spent 2 years putting it back on the road. Unfortunately I don’t have any history with the car but it spent a lot of years in North Wales. If anyone recognises the plate it would be great to hear from you.

Bought this one about a year ago, was a bog standard 1.6l, bought it mainly because the bodywork was so good, changed everything on the car except the block, bigger engine is next, when funds allow it, DSC_0019.JPG DSC_0003.JPG DSC_1122.JPG

My dad gave me the car in 1999 after he had it for only 3 years. I drove it for 3 then decided to start work on it. It was a red 2ltr laser to start.
X pack fitted and painted by me (Tis my job after all) in MG Trophy blue.
Up and downs with ill health (Achalasia operations) I finally picked myself up and got there this year.

have seen Calvins work, he did them well .. looks good in yours TB, but the blue light causes me problems - I can never focus properly on it ..
was always a pain at concerts - band playing, lights going, then blue haze and the band disappears !

The grills i purchased off Nick from this forum. It was by chance he was selling and i had to scrounge abit to buy them as i was not prepared for the purchase lol. I think being a black car it sets off the front quite well.
