This is the future . Me and panch know it makes sense. Let's get as many capri or capri owners together. Previously a great venue for classic Ford show . So if anyone is interested in retro ford show at the pod with or without a capri let's do it. Got to be worth a try as for me and 99% of the people i have spoken to that attend classic Ford last year were disappointed with the new venue and facilities.

I’m up for that. Classic ford show has just announced the cut off date is 2005... that ain’t classic! The cutoff for the retro show on 21st June is pre 95 only.

Once I see my car is actually gonna run I’ll book the ferry :)

So now 'classic' is newer than 'retro'?!?! Not sure what the classic ford guys have been taking, im assuming the event organizer is about 16 and assumes anything older than them is classic??

I bet they are scared that literally nobody will turn up after last years shambles so they are opening the doors to a lot more people to try and fill the spots.

    Just my opinion of course!

    and probably really accurate ..
its getting difficult now to confirm 'Classic' years .. maybe we should just go with an existing bench-mark ..
1 - vintag stated factory build date - and 40 years .. in effect.. Black Plates is classics ..

    only an auld farts thoughts
but its taken me a while to mellow
