If you've fallen out of love with it and need the cash/space then yes but if you think you will do it up later and want an investment better than bank interest rates then no. If you've any doubts about selling it then don't if you don't have to.

I will like always say, if have the space, let it sit there... Its better then ending up regretting it, and may not be able to replace it later on... I know that feeling on a couple of the few cars i have lett go...

if you have the room and don't need the money keep it, you never really lose money on it, but make sure you insure it. I know a guy who had a Jenson interceptor, he didnt bother insuring it because it had no wheels on, the beggars still stole it!

If you have undercover storage for it why not keep the Capri. It is better than money in the bank and you can always put it back on the road quickly to attend the odd show if needed.

Panch if I had the space I would lay it up preserve it spend a weekend prep it grease what will be exposed
Paint lower half in Waxoyl ..
Top up antifreeze ... and wip off cam cover and grease and cam lobes plugs out and squirt a bit of engine oil in the pots and grease the plug threads .. brakes .. cover the discs
Stand on bricks on the chassis rails . And cover it .. up ..
Don't sell it once it's gone you will regret it yes capri's cab be a pain but remember that once you get behind the wheel you are a star in some many people's lives ...
People never forget that car they saw on the way to work...

Problem I have is that I just don’t get the chance to use mine the way I thought I would. I don’t think it does a car any good to be sat there not moving for long periods of time however well stored. I’m seriously thinking it might be better off in the hands of another enthusiast who would get better use out of it. If I’m honest I do get a bit over protective about where and when I drive it in case it gets damaged which doesn’t help.
