Have managed to break the plastic tilt lever surround on the drivers seat of my 1981 Ghia. These surrounds / bezels seem to be Ghia seat specific, both mk2 & mk3 (Mk2 facelift for Alan ;) )

Tried all the usual places for a replacement but only ones in a similar state, thanks you Martin as always ;).

Have found an almost intact one from CCI to use as a template for 3D scanning & printing. That's my problem solved but was wondering if they are used on any other Ford model.

The part number is 74GB-C62672-AA ..... cant find anything googling.

Anyone know if they are used on other Fords, 2 door Escorts etc ?

Found my Ford parts manual this morning & have come up with Finis code 6009765.

Its listed as the same part number for various seat designs some with no locating peg or 2 locating pegs as 74-EB-C62672-AA but mine clearly states 74GB-C62672-AA.

Someone with a 3d printer could print that with ease.

Here's the finished items made from carbon fibre / nylon mix, really pleased with the form & fit, just maybe need a coat of satin black as they have come out more charcoal than black.

Now I have the cadds program for them I can get more made if needed, will road test one when painted. Not a cheap option, most of the cost was for the modelling & programming but probably the only option for new parts as all the 2nd hand ones were damaged.

Do you not do the measuring up with a Vernier then do the 3d modelling yourself?

Yep, I measured & drew the broken one at work with a vernier & 10 x mag projector but I left my cad days behind 15 years ago & don't have a 3D printer so worked with a local company to produce the program, produce working cheap prototypes & print the parts in quality material ;)

I'd just measure it, CAD it and stick the .stl on Thingiverse for free. But then that's just me.
