    refitting my v6 cologne inlet manifold, what sealant would anyone recommend?

    Loctite S51980 is what I have been using for when I’ve been reassembling my engine. No problems so far using just a light smear either side of the gasket. You still need to make sure both metallic faces are clean and flat though and wipe away any excess. Usual precautions.

    people mad, round the bend, up the wall, crazy and nuts
    i use grease on both faces with gasket between them
