Going to lay up the Mini for the Winter. Both garages are full of A666 and A69 so it will have to be outside. I have a slate chippings area that drains very well, and also several large trees that will mask her in from prying eyes. I did think of spreading a waterproof tarp out and parking her on that, but I think that would hold water underneath where as the slate just lets the water soak into the ground. Got one of those Halfords waterproof caps to go over the top down to the bottom of the windows all round so that should protect her, will whizz waxoil everywhere I can get it into. Battery off and on trickle charge in the workshop? Will take the cap off every so often to let fresh air circulate inside, pop the battery back and warm the engine through. Any other suggestions. Finn.

All done, up on axle stands, top cover on, battery off, wheels off and locked away. Roll on Summer. Finn.
