The best of luck my friend but I suspect it won't be needed.

A666 straight through. Only thing that caught the testers attention was that one out of the 4 rubber exhaust hangers was nearly split through. Will replace that tomorrow. Finn.

and this is why the MoT should be mandatory on all vehicles..
Finn knows 666 inside out, its tiny, but a stranger gave him a nice wee bit of info, that saves a clatter later..
now suppose Finn wasnt as good on the cars and the Ass was falling out, and the car was MoT exempt...

Thank you Mr Finney, now get this update into your diary at - http://www.capripower.co.uk/forum/index.php?threads/a666-refurb.20066/page-4 ..

Great news, let's hope for some better driving weather.
First thing I did with my daughter's classic, get it MOTd, cost £19.00 for 2 brake cylinders, brakes felt ok, but on the brake tester, the front were giving low readings, sheer stupidity not having a MOT.

I agree with both of those last 2 posts, no vehicle should be exempt, its just ludicrous. I was looking at a Mk 1 yesterday, it was just full of P38, worst I have ever seen. Somebody had bought it in good faith, and paid a lot of money for it. Let the buyer beware! Finn.

although my wife (Gail) has a 1971 beetle, it is MOT exempt, but unlike most this does get checked over by an MOT station, and also has little bits done at the same time EG brakes adjusted on the brake rolls to make sure they are balanced correct, as its drums all round they need to be spot on and laying on my back under the car is not my idea of fun or to get them 100% correct, it costs a drink for our guy to do this, and a few other little bits and it also means i have no sleepless nights worrying if the car is ok on the road,
