Hello guys Attended our first Classic Car Show of the year earlier. It was the same location as the only one we managed to get to last year (Statfold Barn, Staffordshire) It's really local to us. About 4 miles from where we live. After a lovely warm week, on Friday I decided to clean the 2.8, so it was all very presentable for today. I looked at the forecast yesterday & knew it could be hit or miss weather wise. But anyway, got up nice & early & after breakfast pulled the Capri out the garage. As soon as we set off, around 9, the heavens opened. My wife & I said "Typical!" Although the weather was disappointing there were around 300 cars that turned up. From kit cars to muscle cars, Mini's to Ferrari's. Amongst those there were 3 other Capri's that braved the elements. A very nice bronze Mk2 2.0 A red Mk1 rolling restoration And another early silver 2.8i We took a picnic, dodged the showers & enjoyed the day anyway.
