Hi. I have a 1974 Mk2 1.6GT in Purple Velvet. Had it about 20 years. About to be stripped for resto (not too bad but rust under the vinyl roof so...). I’ve had around 20 Capris over the years, mostly when they were cheap! A mate turned up at college in a 3 Litre off his Dads car dealer forecourt and that was that. I have loved them ever since. Only one I have never owned is a 1.3 or a 2.8.

Welcome, Paul. You should have a fair supply of spares from a history like that. And possible you'll encounter one of your old cars on here.

Most of the loft and shed is Capri parts. If anyone has WPJ 73S or GAR 510N laying in a barn somewhere.....

nice one Paul, welcome and hope you can track down your old ones, good luck with your resto, my roof was rotten at the rear where the tail gate hinges are, Martin at Caprigear supplied me with a good rear section of roof which was welded in.
if you are going back to vinyl i have the cover strips for the rear in chrome

welcome Paul, when you make a start on the strip and restore go on to the members cars section and start a thread for your one, it becomes a diary after a while and you will be able to look back and see all you have done, from what it started as to what you have achieved, even the little bits people tend to forget
