    Mondeo, Hoping for a Capri!
    Hi everyone,

My name is Trystan and I'm a big Capri enthusiast!! I'm hoping one day to own one myself.

I grew up with my mother driving me to nursery a Diamond White, 2.8 Injection Special (C400 BTP) and i'd love to know if that car is still going strong in one piece. Please let me know if you know anything about that one!

    Cheers,
    Trystan

For childhood memories, you could do a lot worse. I'm making my own lately, much the same way. Welcome, and good luck with the search. (Did you bring a lot of cash? Send some here, and I'll keep an eye out.) :)

The DVLA site shows it as on SORN, MOT expired Jan 2017. Given the level of interest in Capris my expectation is that this car is very most probably alive and just off the road undergoing a slow restoration by an enthusiastic owner.

welcome to the forum. There is a world on knowledge on here, there are Authors of Capri books, there are walking and living workshop manuals with their own wiring diagrams to make things simple, we also have bodywork specialists, detailers, fabricators, and our very own Artist, have a good look through all the pages and hope you enjoy what you see and read, no question is a stupid question on here, we all had to start somewhere

Thank you, everyone, for the replies. Will have to wait a while till I can afford to get a Capri, I've just had to fork out £3k to fix my Mondeo, but no matter! lol
