    Hi all
I was a member a few years back, said about my Capri MK1 coming over to Spain; didn't go to plan, has been in the UK in my father-in-law's garage for the past 15 years, pretty much untouched.
She is being transported to Spain on the 5th January; better late than never?! :banana:/> I will put up pics when she arrives.

Plenty of touching going to keep me busy for a while, needs work.
I was in the UK recently sorting out transport, grey every day, the old girl will love some sun, will dry her out, smells a bit damp, garage wasn't great.
Found pics from a few years back, how do I attach?
    Cheers guys

Old girl looks pretty much the same, rust bubble top left wing, and a few other little marks, just hope when she arrives, not too many gremlins

    very Nice Tony ..
I am assuming you are moving to the sunshine.. How is registrating a RHD Capri in Spain working for you ..
are you gonna try and get done before UK leaves the allegiance ..
nearest I got was the Perpignon area of France, we love that area, that bit down the med and to the Spanish border ..

    Hi Clockwork Orange
I moved to Spain spring '04; Spain blow up in the crash of '08, money and work went with it, at that time I came very close to selling the Capri but now much better.
To register UK car is not a problem, emissions and import tax, but I drive back to the UK for mot; ferry Santender to Portsmouth.
I had a LHD Rav 4, didn't like it, prefer RHD, can be a pain overtaking.
Perpignon is a nice part of France.
    All the best Tony T

Trevster you don't see rust on cars here; I live in Castellon in the moutatins, 17 miles from the coast, in a farming community. You see lots of old cars and vans still running, but the paint has well gone, especially the red ones, look like pink sherbert??!! Thanks Tony T

    hey Tony
front end is no problem really .. you will have to watch the rear though ..
a mate of mine used 6.5x15 minilites with 195/50 tyres on his, its tight, but doesn't touch !!
they were a special order ..
I did get 6x13 cosmics under mine with a 28 axle (wider) and 205 tyres .. but had to flare the arches a tad ..
