Looking For A New Car Radio/cd Player

    Basically looking for a cd player that would fit in the capri, as i know its got older connections and allot of newer radios wont fit, just wondering if anyone whos got a nice cd player in there capri could tell me about it, thanks

    I really like bombhead's (dan's) stereo in his car, looks period but performs well with modern features :thumbup1:

    '85 Capri 2.0 Laser
    You will need to cut out the dash facia so that it will fit and will need some fairly easy wiring to get it working.
    Not hard for a DIY mechanic only basic knowledge needed really.
    The hardest part is cutting the facia and keeping it tidy.

    ive had an original stereo re-worked so its got a 1/4inch headphone jack input in my centre console. looks original and i can use my ipod. sounds pretty good for a 30 year old stereo

    MK2 1976 2.0L GL (rotten), Mk3 1983 2.0L "S" (basically just the shell), MK3 1.6L Cabaret (nearest to being back on the road) - all in bits! Focus 2.0 Ghia Zetec estate awaiting sills. 2.0S Mondeo Duratec estate for the daily.
