    Hello everyone,

I used to own a bronze Mk1 XLR, registration BBH 6K in my youth. She got stolen and had her axel broken by some idiot joy riders sadly. I never really realised just how much of an impression she made on me until seeing a picture that a friend posted on Facebook from here I believe of one that looked identical to my own from all those years ago. In these trying and dark times it put the biggest smile on my face as I instantly went back to my late teenage years and remembered all the great times I had driving her up the A13 with my mates all heading to TOTS in Southend.

This site is like stumbling over a rolled up bunch of £50 notes in a bag while packing up to move house!

    Just awesome.
    Paul

p.s. I used Zogmaster as my name because Paul was already taken :)

Welcome, I know I am reliving my youth, by having a 3.0 Capri, just wish it was a K reg and not a T reg, still a good compromise.

Welcome Paul. Are you thinking of recapturing that and rejoining the ranks of us Capri owners once again ? Once these covid times are over theres nothing like the sight of driving alongside other Capris of varying specs and ages on the way to a show or meet.
