Black ones seem to fetch the highest money. S/h excellent condition grey I’d say anywhere between £100-200. But it’s all so subjective so who knows tbh. Hopefully if the seller is genuinely wanting you to have it, they’ll ask for a reasonable amount. Good luck.

If it’s in excellent condition I’d say 300-400. I paid 220 for one last year which was in average condition with some light damage

a brand new one in the box recently sold for 900

if you get a good relatively unbroken one for 300.. thats not bad..

its that old chestnut.. really annoying our Capri parts cost a fortune, but !

I put one up on egay a few years back, it was still in its bag, with factory VOR sticker underneath, never been fitted on a car ..
started at £0.99 .. it went full distance. a bunfight at the end.. £450+ I got in the end..

I went to get a door for my Mk5 Cortina and in the corner of the garage was a Capri tailgate and parcel shelf, I asked the seller what they were doing with them, oh they're going to the skip!!! But me being the proverbial skip rat, said l can put them to good use, they said take them, saves me a journey to the skip.

Not Capri related, but 20 years ago at the local tip.and there was a MK1 Raleigh Chopper in sound condition, asked the tip man if I could have the front wheel, he said give me a couple of quid and you can have the while bike, put it in Ad Mag for £150.00 and the phone never stopped ringing.
This one is Capri related, local bloke worked for Fryers of Uttoxeter the local Ford dealer, he new my 3000 GT XLR needed wings and one night turns up with a brand new one, give me a drink for it,, so £10.00 crossed his palm, there's also a local bloke that worked there with a shed load of panels for Ford's and Vauxhall's, he won't sell anything, it's his pension!!!
