Ok so after looking at loads of Capris over the last couple of weeks I have finally found one that ticks all the boxes and at a reasonable price.

looking forward to it arriving on Saturday

Glad for you - Just got back from a 1,000-mile trip to look at a vehicle -- decided not to buy.

    Car arrived this afternoon.

Really happy with it considering I bought it blind…..I know..

Bit of surface corrosion underneath but nothing structural. Wing rail is a bit flakey on passenger side but in general really solid condition considering it’s nearly 40 years old.

It has all the old mots back to 1986 so the mileage of 102000 is genuine as well.

It’s had loads of new parts exhaust, callipers discs pads and a top end engine rebuild less than 2k ago.

Gave 9k for it which I think is a good price considering some of the overpriced stuff on sale now.

    Already spending money on parts

The tone of your words says it was a good price, and at least to me with over 350,000 miles, 102,000 is considered unusually low mileage for a Capri. Spending now on parts means that soon, you'll get your hands dirty, and the meaning of life will be manifest. That Leeds place must be up at the top of a high, steep mountain.:)
