    Looks cool as........

    Out of curiosity, what ground clearance do you have with the front crossmember and the road, and your chassis rails and the road? I have about 4.5" clearance at the lowest point (gearbox), and not sure if its enough!!!

    Keep up with the updates!!

    Thanks :)

    I think I have around 4" so if you have 4,5" is prob enough.
    (but you cannot compare with my crossmember, as it is raised up around 3,5", if it had been in the original place the crossmember would almost been standing on the ground,
    also the chassis-rails are chopped and moved inside the car, heavy modifications made)

    Hi Twin turbo :)

    A lot of work has been put into the front suspension setup (and especially on the the Capri-struts) to be able to make it low and wide enough..
    I have adjustable TCA's extended to around 120mm on each side, and compression-struts, so the setup is like single A-arms with Mac-pherson struts :)
    The Capri-struts are also shortened 55mm, with Golf MK1 inserts, 325lbs springs on welded coilovers-kit on the struts, for adjustable ride-height, adjustable eccentric top-mounts,
    (everything is adjustable), The KPI-angle is increased to around 20 degrees.
    All mounting-points are higher up,
    // Magnus

    That is one good idea I also thouht about that.. after I was finished, it would have been better, why not raise everything up... instead of raise part for part as I did,
    And if I did it again I would have made a space-sub-frame from the cabin and forward, conected to the roll-cage, it would have solved some issues..
    B/c one of the problems now is that all the heat from the engine cannot get out so it is going under the car, so the "tunnel" gets super-hot, and almost too warm inside

    I hope to build the hole car again later, to full "copy" of the real one. With full tubular frame, but first now want to get it buildt up "cheap" and easier... to get the parts that I want on it collected and modded to fit... so wil lift the floor and frame to the same hight as "top" of sill.

    I Will runn the exhaust like it was on the real one, and also Will put radiators in the rear wing like the real.
